Course Info
Support (Hydration/Toilets): There is no water station on the 5k course. Half Marathon racers will see aid stations a total of 5 times at approximately miles 2.5, 4.6 7. 8.5 and 11.3. Water and electrolyte replacement drink will also be offered in the start/finish expo area.
Portajohns are located at the expo parking area as well as on the course at Half Marathon locations 3.55 miles and 9.7 miles.
Energy Gels will be available at the mile 8.5 and 11.3 aid station.
Aid stations will have water and an electrolyte replacement drink. There are cups at the aid stations on the course. There are NO CUPS at the finish line. There is drinking water available at the finish line. Please bring your water bottle!
Course Surface: The Westy Half/5k will take place on the Big Dry Creek Trail. This trail has gravel, dirt, and paved portions. It is acceptable for strollers. Dogs on leashes are welcome on this course.
The courses below are the tentative 2025 course. Due to construction on the course, finalized 2025 course maps will be released closer to race date - likely even race week as detours and construction completion changes on a daily basis. The half marathon will follow a 'bow tie' style course, running west to a turn around, then back near the start line, past the expo area and out to the east to a turn around point where you will turn around and then return to the finish line. The 5k course is pure out and back running north east from the startline to a turn around point and then running back exactly how you left to the finish line.
